Spring Showcase for Accepted Students 2026

A Night Made Possible by Our People: February 10 Spring Showcase

On February 10, we had the absolute joy of welcoming our accepted Magnet students and their families to our Spring Showcase—and it is no exaggeration to say that the evening was special because of the people who made it happen.

From the moment families walked into the Arena to the final celebration in the Performing Arts Center, the night felt warm, purposeful, and genuinely student-centered. Prospective Magnet Warriors were able to explore clubs and organizations, hear from student, parent, and teacher panels, and get a real sense of what life in our Magnet community looks like day to day. The energy in the building was palpable, and it reflected exactly who we strive to be as a program.

What made this evening truly remarkable, though, was the collective effort behind the scenes.

Our Open House Committee met week after week to plan, problem-solve, and refine every detail—often quietly and without recognition. Their leadership, commitment, and willingness to give their time for the good of the program were exceptional. This event simply would not have come together without their steady dedication and thoughtful collaboration.

Equally inspiring were our student volunteers. These students gave up their evening to welcome families, serve on panels, guide guests, and represent the Magnet program with confidence, kindness, and pride. They didn’t just help run the event—they were the event. Their voices, authenticity, and enthusiasm are what families will remember most.

As the Magnet Coordinator, I am incredibly grateful. Events like this remind me that our strength is not found in a single presentation or schedule, but in the people who believe in this program and show up for it—again and again.

To our committee members, student volunteers, staff, and everyone who lent a hand: thank you for giving your time, your energy, and your hearts to this important night. You made our accepted students feel welcomed, celebrated, and excited for what’s ahead—and that is the greatest success we could ask for.

We are so proud of this community, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Class of 2030.
