North Cobb Magnet Freshman Tailgate August 15 RSVP!

Your student is invited to our Annual Freshman Tailgate on Friday, August 15, from 4:00-6:00 PM!

Where to Meet at 3:55: Room 110, Next to Magnet Office. Ambassadors will walk students to the event. Dr. Jamison will take any student wanting to store their backpack to the Film Room lobby first, then will take them back to the Tailgate.

Location of Event: Small Courtyard outside the 600 hall. Students can access it by walking down the 300 hall and exiting through the double doors.

Who: Students only!

What's Happening: Enjoy pizza, chips, candy, drinks (thanks to our wonderful Magnet Foundation), along with games like corn hole, face painting, and sidewalk chalk.

After the tailgate, we hope your student will stay for the FIRST home football game against Archer at 7:30 PM! Most people start arriving early, so we suggest that your student go to the football game right after the tailgate. Dr. Jamison will take students to the film room hallway to store backpacks. We will not be storing anything in the Magnet Lounge.

We hope your student will attend the game, but if they do not, please make sure to pick them up promptly at 6:00PM. Also, during the football game I will not be available to go back and forth to retrieve backpacks. I am telling students that I will be outside the film room lobby two times that night: 1. during half time, and 2: right after the game ends.

This is a great opportunity for students to join in the fun, make new friends, and show off their school spirit as they cheer on our football team! Being part of North Cobb School for International Studies isn't just about hitting the books—it's about diving into a vibrant community, creating unforgettable memories, and embracing the excitement that comes with being a Warrior!

We're excited for all our freshmen to come, make new friends, and have a blast with their new North Cobb family.
