Tuesday, 1-October, thirty 11th and 12th grade Magnet Warriors traveled to Athens to attend an exclusive Q&A with the chair of SPIA's Department of International Affairs. All were interested to hear about the interesting courses, multiple majors, study abroad options, and Double Dawg (joint graduate and undergraduate degrees) opportunities. Before leaving campus, they also attended a lecture given by former Director General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, on the preservation of cultural heritage in times of conflict. A simply fantastic, international studies outing!
We were fortunate to meet up with NCHS Magnet Alumni on campus as well!
