The NCSIS Magnet program is excited to welcome guest speaker Slma Shelbayah, a journalist, assignment editor, producer and writer at CNN that has worked with the international desk, Newsource, as well as digital. Outside CNN she is a communication consultant and public speaker. In addition to her work at CNN, she teaches International Business Communication courses at Brenau University where they spend much of the courses she teaches talking about cross-cultural communication, conflict resolution and basics of global awareness. She will be visiting us on October 19 for first period to our 10th grade Magnet students, and she will also visit us on November 9th to speak to our fourth period Magnet students.
