Spring Showcase for Accepted Magnet Students at NCSIS
On Thursday, Feb. 6 2025, North Cobb held its Spring Showcase for Accepted Students, a yearly event that celebrates all North Cobb has to offer to prospective magnet warriors.
First, students and parents visited the packed Arena, where over 50 clubs, sports, and organizations were decked out with table decorations, signs, posters, balloons, and North Cobb Swag!
Next, students and parents went to separate panel discussions, where parents got to talk with a panel of teachers and a panel of current magnet parents. 8th grade prospective students got to see two panels of current magnet members, who shared their experiences in academics and extracurriculars and pathways.
Finally, families ended the night in the performing arts center, complete with performances by a chamber duet, freshman singer and theater student, and the North Cobb band!
